Eyre Heavy Duty Fleet Services, a division of Eyre Bus Service, located in beautiful rural western Howard County, is currently seeking a full-time, experienced Diesel Mechanic / Diesel Technician to join our expanding team.
WE ARE OFFERING A $1000 SIGN-ON BONUS. $500 PAID AFTER ONE MONTH, THE REMAINING $500 PAID AFTER 3 MONTHS.
Job Scope:
The Mechanic will perform complex and complete engine and electrical diagnostics and repairs to diesel trucks and buses.
Will also include preventative maintenance and other challenging mechanical work.
Hours: Monday-Friday 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Eyre Bus, a 77-year-old family-owned bus company, repairs and maintains its own internal fleet of luxury motorcoaches as well as performing service for outside customers of buses, tractor trailers, flatbeds and other various commercial motor vehicles.

Minimum requirements:
- At least 3 years of paid experience working as a Diesel Technician or Diesel Mechanic on trucks and/or other commercial vehicles performing high level repair services.
- Must be able to pass a drug test and background check
- Must have a stable work history without patterns of job hopping.
- Self-motivated, honest, and punctual
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $32.00 – $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
